A truly pleasurable dining experience has many stages - each moment more exciting than the last, ultimately leading up to the conclusion. L’ultime, French for The Ultimate, is a dessert wine intended to be enjoyed as the finale of any great meal.

Rich ruby in color, with notes of smoke, oak, and herbs and flavors of sweet orange marmalade and cinnamon, this firmly structured wine has an almost liqueur-like quality that remains fresh and gripping from beginning to end.

Our winemaker emulated the dessert wine-making style of the Banyuls region of France when he formulated this limited production wine. The grapes were hand-pressed by estate team members to assure the integrity of the fruit and to further develop the true potential of the Syrah varietal.
