2007 Sonoma Valley Chardonnay
92 Points/Editor's Choice - Wine Enthusiast, 12.31.09
A touch of the grapes experienced botrytis, also referred to as noble rot which imparts notes of honeysuckle
flower and white peach. With notes of lemon creme and pear the 2007 Sonoma Valley Chardonnay is the perfect accompaniment to
grilled lobster, gouda and asiago cheese, or cedar planked salmon.

2009 Sonoma County Sauvignon BlancOur Sauvignon Blanc is crafted to express the grape's subtler side, to achieve this with a varietal that naturally tends toward an overt grassiness or vegetative aspect, strict attention to detail is required. In the vineyard discing the soil, pruning and canopy management control vigor. We add texture to the palate by blending Sauvignon Musqué and aging a small percentage in fine grained French oak. The nose has an intensely perfumed fresh bouquet of pink grapefruit and watermelon combines with energetic spice notes underlined by invigorating minerality. Emulating the nose, the palate of crisp citrus and melon flavor carries a hint of dry white herb accompanied by a soft, round mouth feel resulting in a medium bodied, fresh, food-friendly wine.

2009 Helena Bench Sauvignon BlancThe 2009 Helena Bench Sauvignon Blanc is the second single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc we have produced from our Knights Valley vineyard at the base of Mt. St. Helena in Sonoma County. Part of an alluvial riverbed of sand and gravel, this vineyard is influenced by the cooling effects of the Mountain which contribute rich aromas of exotic fruit and grapefruit and an underlying mineral streak.
